I did TKD from the ages of 8-16 and fought for the Under 16's team for England , I also fought for the British Army team when I was 18/19. Im also a Level (3?) International Referee, I can* corner judge up to International Tournaments and Referee British National, and most Open's

I Stopped when I leaft the Army, I realised I wanted more spirtuality and training out of Marital Arts, and TKD is far to sport orianted.

*Im not current since 2009 when I did the Canadian Open, so without a refresher course I wouldn't be allowed to do that

I liked it tons but im really not into anymore, did Tai Chi for a bit, dropped that to focus my time on Archery, Cricket and running though, though I still remember all my poomse up to about fourth dang I think.

Oh yea, I was 2nd dang.

So what about you OP?

Not as Amazing as you think, I was a decent enough under 16's took a few Silvers for England, but as soon as I hit over 16's I found myself well out of my depth and got battered around like a pincussion.

Didn't do "fantastic" for the Army Team either, best I did was a bronze against US Airforce Team in 09.
On that note, the US Airofrce Team sucked, your Navy team though was like something from a Bruce Lee movie.

Nowadays I prefer to shoot things with pointy arrows rather than kick them.

Im sorry to hear about your Injury though, I know it can be a right pain to not be able to do what you wan't to do because your body is daft.

My body type is just not right for it but I did do Taekwondo for a while. I eventually ended up in Judo, Karate, and KungFu. But I still follow it during the Olympics.

I have short legs and am no the most flexible person in the world. I just find Grappling gives me an easier time.
