Quiz Jungle: I did the damn offer, got no pay for it, skipped a bunch of offers before Webroot blocked the site; looking back an hour later and hearing other's horror stories, it was probably sneaking something in the back door.
MyVeiw: I registered a full-fledged account with these bastards with a name, address, email, race, gender, DOB, I don't remember what all else it required...over half an hour ago, it said I would get my Gcash in "less than 20 minutes" which was bs, I have no more now than I did yesterday.
I am under 18 and
very uncomfortable with giving my home address to random scammers for fear of people banging on the door at 3am saying "you owe us money";
These people WILL NOT get my phone number, no matter how politely or threateningly they ask;
I alrady have bad enough spam on 3 email accounts;
And my computer is already unpleasant for any purpose, let alone adding viruses to the mix, hence I wil not download anything.
For months now, I have sworn to myself that if Gaia is having financial issues of ANY kind, they need to be like everyone else, and just charge companies more to annoy US with ads.
And whatever happened to the Gcash tree that will follow you around until you click it? It's been a while since i've seen it.
Yea, I'd say that quiz jungle makes half of my "un-paid" sponsors.
I've done so many surveys/games/quizzes, give my damn information, and I don't get what I need...some gaia cash.
I report it, but still no word.
On top of that, my computer is a Mac, and yes, they can still get viruses (not as easily as windows). But I still want to keep my computer safe, and having to able cookies to 3rd parties and enable my pop-up-blocker, I feel very
uneasy.
All I can say is, hope to get my gaia cash AND to keep my computer safe...hopefully these "sponsors" won't bombard my computer or my email.
