The people who provide this and many other newsletters have left me with nasty amounts of spyware, adware,malware, etc. I had a laptop fry under all the bulk of it. It is also first on the list on it's tab, so many people with not-so-great protection will fall for it.
TL;DR - E-mails that infect your computer real bad!

I did an offer a few months ago, and my email has been spammed with 10+ emails a day since.
I never even got any cash.

Offers like those are only good for virus and spywares =[ the only good way would just be buying gaia cards or pay via mail/paypal.

edit: never accepts gaia gold/cash from other sites.That rule is even from the TOS and yet they break it >|

I did one of those last year.. I do believe it was one of the tea offers. You pay like some amount and get they will send you two teas of your choice and a cup. Yeah that was a total SCAM!! I canceled the subscription and 4 months later they took 80 bucks from my account, couldn't get a hold of anyone to explain crap. I had to cancel my cards. Total waste!

That's happened to me three times, and OfferPal refused to credit me because the survey of the day doesn't send a confirmation email -__- But all the other times I did it, I got cash.

I'm a little confused why Gaia is participating in these "offers" at all. As far as I can see, they are scams, not legitimate offers, and the most "legitimate" examples of these offers come at the high price of HUGE amounts of spam, for months if not years.

I began to sign up for one last year, but after it asked for my personal information (name, address, etc.) I decided I was not going to participate anymore, and stopped without submitting the forms. Well, they still got my email address, and at that address (which I almost never use), I still receive spam. I have tried to "unsubscribe" myself from as many of those mailings as possible, but my email address has been passed around and around and around.

And this is when I did not even sign up. Imagine if I had given them my irl name and address and phone number.
