Agreed.. creeps me the hell out. No idea why ALW felt the need to make a Phantom sequel (other than for the fantasy of killing off Sarah Brightman's original character and for moolah..)

I wouldn't even class High School Musical as a musical.

Superman: the musical.

He has a whole song about putting on his tights.

But oddly enough, there's a really good audition song for girls that came from that show.

Love Never Dies had a s**t plot, but the music was beautiful.
Personally, I HATE Oklahoma. Key as it might be in the history of musical theatre, I hate the plot as well as the music.
And the music from High School Musical was at least catchy and decent. The sequels should be burned in a giant pit, though.

As soon as I found out that it existed, I was simply way too excited. Indeed, it is a good adaptation and I enjoyed seeing it a lot.
