I'm surprised that I couldn't find a topic for this. Is it true their making a remake? I heard some company bought the rights to it. Anyways! What's your favorite song, and favorite character from the movie? I think mine has to be Columbia, and Rose Tint My World. =D

Yes, there will be a remake by MTV. My favorite song is "Hot Patootie" and I don't really have a favorite character.

my favourite caracter has to be magenta shes crazy, but to be honest im not a fan of remakes at all. they just dont measure up to the originals. but id be tempted to check it out anyway. "sweet transvestite" is a great song blaugh

I didn't hear that MTV was remaking it but that should be interesting....I have a feeling there will be a lot of upset fans cause I just can't see them making it as awesome as Richard O'Brien's original.

Has anyone seen the "sequel" Shock Treatment? Only a few originals are in it. I recommend it if you love the insanity and awesomeness of Rocky.

Holy crap they may be making a remake? No way, it's perfect the way it is!! I love the Time Warp but who doesn't, Sword of Democles...is that how you spell it?...is pretty fun too.

I don't know how I feel about a remake.... I mean the reason RHPS is such a great movie is because it's so LOUSY and CULT! we love to make fun of it and throw sh*t at a screen, man. but my favorite song is "Creature of the Night" not many people tend to remember it, but it's my absolute fave! as for characters, I kinda like Dr. Scott

I've loved RHPS for about 25 years, I love the stage show too! I think a remake would be a big mistake though. However a remake of shock Treatment would be good, it's a good film but needs some tweeking.

My favourite characters have always been Riff Raff and Magenta and my favourite song (apart from The Time Warp which I think is a given) is Toucha-Toucha. Once in a While from the stage show (it was cut from the movie sadly) is cute though.
