I really dig the score from Legendary's Godzilla. I think Alexandre Desplat put together a helluva good composition that harkens back to the ye olden days of classic blockbusters like Jaws and Jurassic Park.

I think so too. I also like the whole atmosphere of the movie, I really enjoyed it although some of my didn't.
I haven't seen the other movies you mentioned, but I liked his score in the Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
