I personally think the anime Naruto/Naruto Shippuden have some of the best soundtracks I have heard in a while. So, what are your favorite songs from an anime? Even though I love the soundtracks from Naruto, I think I'm going to have to say my favorite song is "Lilium" from the anime Elfen Lied. heart

The instrumental stuff in Negima! is pretty good.

Best anime song I've ever heard is probably the insert song "Meikyuu Butterfly" by Nana Mizuki (from Shugo Chara).

(Don't be fooled, I mainly like action series. Really.)

Samurai Champloo has one of the best OST's I ever heard. It's mostly instrumental hip-hop and R&B. Nujabes, Force of Nature, MINMI, and Tsutchie are awesome.

My favorites have been the Angel Beats and K-ON! soundtracks. I love the piano in Angel Beats biggrin

It may sound cliche by this point, but the fact still remains that Cowboy Bebop probably has one of the greatest soundtracks in anime, if not the greatest.

Also, no, the Naruto/Shippuden soundtracks are generic as hell. E.g. "Sadness and Sorrow" sounds like any other stock weepy track.

I love the Death Note soundtrack :3
More than that, I love TWEWY soundtrack. I don't really know if that counts as anime (it's a video in an anime/manga style), but the music is really addicting~
