He is NOT a genius. He takes other people's stories and then writes about five melodies and five songs and jams all the lyrics needed into them. They suck!

They suck, do they? Well, Phantom happens to be the number 1 longest running show on Broadway. Cats happens to be an original, and Jesus Christ Superstar actually makes sense and ISN'T boring (sorry about the terrible adjectives.)

Also, I'm not so sure about the cancer thing. I mean, he's making "Love Never Dies".
