Welcome to Gaia! ::

love the system.

however, it needs alot more improvement on the game system.

1. the enchanted weapon does not show the stat.
2. energy recovery abit too slow
3. cash items abit too expensive while the game is still new in many ways.
4. make orbs more sensible to the effects and weaknesses
5. what are the armor for? decorative?

anyway the battle system is fun xp

Thanks for the comments on the game. I will make sure to pass them along to the Developers. I can answer some of your questions now tho:

Orbs - These actually are very responsive. It's merely a case of knowing what situation to use which power. Using a power when it first lights up may not be the best strategy as tagging a partner in may not gain you much, so it may be more strategically important to save up for a Soul Crash/counter.

Tagging and countering can also be vital when you battle bosses as while you are tagging in and out, you take no damage, The same applies when you are countering. So having spare orbs to be used at the right time is very important.

Alot of armor pieces are decorative, but I will tell you, getting full sets of some armor can be very, VERY impressive in more ways than one wink
Also game is not bad but i hate the energy system 3enegy for 1 fight with 10 energy why not take 2energy for a fight is more easyier, and the terra boss sucks i tried alrdy over 20x and still not won <.<
1. Energy Timer needs to be tweaked
2. Missions completed need to be cleared.
3. Rewards seem a little cheap after a fight.
4. Item prices need to come down.

But other than those things...I do find the game enjoyable..

The game's battles are unbearably difficult & nigh unwinnable unless one becomes highly lucky during battle. (even with just plain ol' grunts) All won gold keeps getting siphoned off to shuffle the enemies, which in turn simply defeat me, (a lvl. 4?) causing me to have the need to shuffle them again. Being forced to pay for mercs each battle was a surprise, too. Can't make it just a one-time deal, & let them rank up alongside us?

Please tune down the A.I. by 50%, & then work it up 1% at a time until people start rage quitting again. That's where the delicate balance point is. Right now, I'm getting slightly flustered by the long lengths of the enemies' Soul combo strikes, which easily take out at least my character & one of the wooden men.

It would be nice to have other activities to do in game whilst the timer chugs along. ^_^ (aside from Summer Springs)

i just started the game an hour ago, and i NEVER KNEW it was made by gaia. i clicked the forum and was surprised to see that it redirected me to gaia! then i said to myself 'woah! this is gonna be a great game!'... it is actually! as far as i played.

i'm just level 3 atm but seeing the responses here i am quite disheartened. first, the timer. it's soooooooooo slooooooooow. second, the armor. i bought an armor then i read it's just decorative? like wtf? i should've just saved it for a better weapon! that's truly insane. third, the rewards. it's too little. i don't mind the prices of goods being high but the rewards should be pumped up. lastly, the boss. haven't encountered her yet but knowing she'll be impossible to defeat, i might be quitting as early as now.

Might as well document my progress:

Lv. 6 now! Got a few lucky-lucky breaks, but my rusty sword is still only a low level 2, & I still don't have any money. I'm hoping that if I watch the videos everyday for the next 2 months, I'll get the Cloudsplitter. It probably won't help me with the lv. 10 boss lady, but we'll see. I'm primarily an evasion specialist, with nearly all points going towards that stat. (was also given the 'water' element, whatever that means) This is in hopes of being able to juggle my way out of the coming boss battle. (really dreading when that time arrives) So far, I just kinda would like to have a more dynamic timer. Waiting 10+ minutes isn't fun. I think I'll continue documenting my progress, especially since DJ Hellsing expressed enthusiasm over the game during Ohayocon.

i love the battle system but the game is too slow:

- 4 action points per hour, which means 4 battles every 3 hours.
-Treasure chest bonus after battles throwing multiple 1g coins (why not 1 coin with a large amount)

cool more item for sale in the shop please.. and how about some extra bonus game in the shop? it can be simply as some kind of exercise when player running out of energy.. since we can do nothing beside play other game waiting for next energy.
Kinda annoyed at it. I only have one friend that started playing so even if I win every battle the mercenary takes all my money so I have no way of upgrading. If nothing else I think the tree fighters you get to use when you are broke should be a free option for your team as opposed to the mercenaries. Please do something. I have sent invites out but no luck. I will not put real money into online games so that is not an option.

Lv. 8 now, & the whole fighting aspect still seems to be random. The 'dodge everything hopefully' doesn't work as well as I thought when I'm bounching off of the side screen, but man does it help to do that to the enemy! And Countering during a Soul Crash very much helps when they only have a tiny portion of health left. I've failed to up my Rusty Sword to its highest level twice now, so I'm getting sad there... Twas also hoping that the clothing had more than a visual appeal, but that can be decided by you guys & girls later on down the road.

energy should be attainable. i dont like playing till i run out of energy then simply waiting for hours before i can do much more. aside from that im yet to have any issues with it aside from the inviting friends option currently being out of order.
this is a good game! i like it.
the battle is good! ilike that way you bash your opponent to wall
AI is also good ( need skill to beat at 25+ streak win)

thing not good is
item do not show stat ( weapon and armor)
energy timer ( i hope you can make it 10min per point so that player can battle per half hour)
hope you can have more quest ( good reward if possible)
i hope you can remove the bug of negative energy as soon as possible! ( cause i cannot play at night) OS: vista browser( firefox latest 10.0], chrome and safari)

ty this is a good game
i hope you can improve it

when is the official launch?

Update: I'm at the first boss, Terri. She's won 16/16 times, but I'm sensing a pattern to her tags & countering, that's tied directly into her (& the others') health. Kinda wanting my lv. 25 friend to be able to be team mated to help out. I'm also starting to wonder if the evasion stat is any good for putting points into, since I don't seem to be evading much of anything.

EDIT: I've been updating the number of times Terri has won. (now to 16) She needs to desperately be toned down, or have her minions be completely axed so that she's all by herself. I feel that I will never win at this rate, & have begun to understand what people mean by 'Terri the Terrible'. If I could reset my points...

EDIT EDIT: Threw all hope against the wall & put my level earned cash into one of the lucky chests, netting a Brutus the Teddy Bear. Even at one level of improvement, I'm able to down both of Terri's bodyguards (w/2 Moku, too) at a rate that a fully leveled Rusty Sword could not begin to even imagine. Although I'm still dieing, my hope is that a level 2 Teddy Bear will breeze right through this vast nightmare. To those reading my updates, have a better weapon--not of the rusty sword type--ready by the time you get to Terri the Terrible!
ve invested almost everything into dodge and i end up really really weak... lulz
