Welcome to Gaia! ::

well it depends on your definiton of "idiot" but yeah, if i really disagree with someone i'll argue with them. never in a loud shouting way tho.
Would I argue with an Idiot??? well I dont really see the piont in it. I mean if their an idiot their never going to give up the position, and I just dont think I have the nerves to agrue with an idiot. I see just let them continue on with their life filled with mistakes and Idiotocristy
I do everyday, he is my boyfriend
Maybe if they appear idiots they are merely ill-informed or ignorant of facts? Isnt it then the duty of us more enlightened to engage in conversation or even argument in order to educate them rofl
If you do it right, It`s just really funny. Don`t try to prove them wrong, so much as make them look more like an idiot. THAT, sir is how you win.
Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.

- Winston Churchill

I got the same first name and I 100% agree
I came in to flame a n00b and kick a**.
And I'm all out of a**.
i have, and i have nothing to say about it
if i ever argue with an idiot, i will just make myself more idiot if i argue with him at the first place.
Just to keep myself entertained, yes.
Yes. I want to make them see that theyre wrong and I am right.

An fun exercise in futility.
Ahahaha, only if I'm stuck with them.
I once had a co-worker who wasn't too bright, it was either ignore or argue, and since where I worked you can't exactly ignore someone (and he was pretty persistent) I had no choice but to shoot him down. He couldn't even give me citations for anything he was arguing.

Kyle: "But moths aren't an indication for the theory of evolution!"
Myself: "Yes, which is exactly why in Biology TEXT BOOKS they use them as an example of evolution..."

And it just went on for a good hour...
I would argue with anyone. The only time I would stop is simple: when they hole up and aren't listening to you anymore. For instance, one does not need to argue the same concept over and over... and over. Unless said person thought of a different action from your words, which then allows clarification. But if they hear you well... for instance: (An example)

Person: Pie is the best.

Me: No, I hate pie because I don't like its flavor.

Person: PIE IS TASTY! BLEHRGRHRG!

The Person didn't bring anything new up and I guess just felt like extending an argument. Me would just let them be, they're too holed up to hear anything at that time. Maybe later.
