I was just speaking yesterday to a man who works at the nearby prison for sex offenders. His job is to administer phallometric testing - which supposedly (it has serious flaws, but let's not go there) measures exactly what men are sexually attracted to. Now, he believes very much in that technology, and even HE states that there are probably thousands of men walking around who show deviant attraction but NEVER commit any sex crimes.

Certainly, there have been studies that show that about 17% of the normal, non-offending adult male population will have "inappropriate age/activity" attraction when tested. And many who commit sex offenses against children show *no* sexual attraction to children.

For all you know, that person who told you that might be a liar, though! Believing things like that just because someone says it is a no-no, little girl!

That's a pointless point to make. I mean, why the hell would he lie about that?
The person she was talking to seems like a reliable source anyway.
Not only that, but it's a view held by a lot of people on this thread, and I'm pretty sure there's research and evidence to back it up..

There's numerous researches that have found early sexualisation to have adverse effects on individuals, both empirical and psychological.

Actually, the funny thing is, as often as I have heard people say that, they have never been able to offer me any of this body of work. I've read the works on the negative effects of sexual relationships at a young age, but from people's inability to cite any of these in their arguments, I would assume that they haven't read anything. Thus, when I ask her to correct this, I am saying that she needs to defend it, not merely assume that it will be universally accepted. Of course all this is being said without me even going into the number of errors frequently found in research dedicated to *****, the sensationalization of the results found, and the similarities between the witch hunt for ***** and similar mass reactions of fear through out U.S. history

Freud, Schwarz, North, Sandstrom, Hollins & Howell, Finkelhor, Abel, Woods, off the top of my head. It really tends to be accepted simply as it is true.

1. its a sexual orientation, like being straight or liking dominance or whatever. i do not believe that ths is something you choose, its either there when you are born or built in at such an early age you cant really do anything about it. so i huess that would make it natural?

2. I would be surprised if the count of men who have ***** fantasies/tendensies would be as high as 25%, but still i dont think it is impossible.

3. i can think of 2. i know that one liked girls that are in the early stages of puberty, which makes him not a *****, the otherone could imagine having sex with a 12year old when he was at the age of 20, however, since i dont know hlw he imagined this supposed 12 y-o, i cant say if that was pedephil-ic either.

the definition of a ***** is someone who feels sexual attraction to prepubecent children. since puberty doesnt hit everyone at the same age, you cant put an agelabel on what agepreference makes you a *****.

i believe a ********* (sp?) is someone who feel sexual attraction to children/youngsters in puberty...? like someone who is atracted to lets say... 13-17 year olds? still legal minors, but not 'children' in a physical sense.

and as for the ***** vs molesation, i totally agree that not all ***** molest.
i also think (havent read thread but im sure it has come up somewhere it usually does) that being a ***** should be illegal.

molestation is a crime and should remain illegal, but the thought, the sexual preference should not be. you cant make laws against thoughts.

1. No it isn't- neither is sexual sadism. Whether or not it is natural is immaterial it is certainly neither normal nor desirable.

2. A fantasy does not a ****** make, I'm sure the percentage could be much higher with the correct sampling.

Correct- age is immaterial.
You're right about the spelling and definition of a ********* but you generalise him with the ephebephile.
It is impossible and morally abhorrent to implement thought crimes. It simply should be the case that ****** are not or are fixed.

***** find children sexually attractive, something I find disturbing on some levels. Child molestors molest children. Some molestors aren't really attracted to children sexually. They might hate children and want to humiliate them. Some ***** actually do harm children. It all depends on the person.

Just so we're clear, I do not approve of people molesting children. The idea sickens me.
