Ok, this is a documentary that can easily be study for psychology/sociology even philosophy purposes. Now I am not knowledgeable about terms to make a debatable argument... but it is quite a loop how people get themselves into. It can looked as irrational, but it is quite common it happens to the best of us.. I thought this documentary was showing the nature of most of human beings are addictions and reasons that do not seem coherent for the rest of the world.

I am not familiar with the site so I would have to ask what the name of the documentary is and the specific topic that it covers. A basic summary of it-even one copied from wikipedia would be appreciated.

In my opinion, this documentary is slow progressing for ADD viewers, but for any one into psychology it is a MUST WATCH... since as a psychology student one can analyze it differently. I just feel sad how truthful it is. Some people think that things like this are rare but the truth is.. it is quite common.

Crazy that the women are working as prostitutes so that they can pay for male hosts... And how much less money the women make compared to the men?? Eesh...

Them poor guys who barely know who they are anymore and are more or less just objects after a while. Mechanical... With all that money, you'd think that one main guy would get himself a house somewhere or sommit and some college courses and land himself a different career.

I can see why girls being approached by one of these hosts on the street would probably be pretty angry to see them. "They're just here to take your money!" Oie-vey, what a life...

Makes me see that Anime, Oran Host Club in a whole new light, now... Now I just feel sad for all them kids. ._.

Indeed. As I was watching it, I did not know how to feel for either of them. I thought that guys were pretty much in a bad place as much as the girls. The most horrible thing is that all the girls they know it is all lies, but they want to believe it. It is very complicated to be in such state of mind. It is an addiction. The owner, Issei probably has a very negative look in life since he knows that he is messing up the life of all the girls and messing up his life as well.... but he is addicted to the money.

It's true, yeah... that all sounds like a really sad and exhausting existence... All of them must be so jaded. .__. ;;

Guess he'll keep going until he gets old enough to start losing his looks... (or his liver gives out).

That really is an interesting documentary.Oh yeah, I also find it interesting how all of the guys look exactly the same... Heh... Well, when a formula works, right?

It has really got to be a pain to have one of those snoody girls for a customer. One of those girls who just sits there and gives all the hosts a hard time. .__. ;;
