Everyone will find something wrong with something. This is because human nature is to shun what they don't know or understand. Rather then try and research it and look into things and try and understand it from the other side of the fence, they just move to insult and boycott it. Look at any major activist group and the extremes they'll go through in order to get their point across.
In the same regards there are people that even find normal or "vanilla" sex to be wrong. They participate in it only when they are married or because they feel its their duty to their spouse or because they need to procreate.
At the end of the day its simply a matter of opinion, and because of the way S&M or BDSM is portrayed in the media it will always catch the worst flack from society. Its not that there is anything wrong with it, and honestly for a while I was rather deep into that world myself. Me and my fiance still dabble in it ourselves. If you trust the person you're with and are careful, I don't see any problems with such a thing.
I do, however, not believe in casual BDSM. It is something that puts force and stress on a person both mentally and physically and if there isn't some kind of understanding between those people it can easily become dangerous. I think that in order to truly fall into that world, you need to have trust with your partner or else you're just playing around. Truly BDSM is only reached when their is a strong mutual understanding and bond between the two participants.
