i'm straight but i dont have anything against gays. my best friend's bisexual and i dont exactly care. i hate people that judge and have anything against gays. its their life and their feelings, let them do what they want.
I am straight and am generally happy with it, I don't really have a problem if someone is gay or bi because I don't feel it is my place to judge people because I am not God I have made friends with people of every sexual orientation. I even have one friend who is assexual, until I met him I honestly had no idea that such people even existed. Since my sex drive is relatively high I have virtually no concept of what that is like and was puzzled when he explained it to me, but we don't judge each other and we are still good friends.
I am bisexual,
but am in a monogamous relationship.
I follow the saying "to each their own"
and don't worry about anyone else's sexuality.
This is awesome everyone. Thank-you so much!

I choose to be straight and i'm happy that way. 4laugh
I believe that you love who you love. Its not based on male or females. Its just the person.

While your sentiment about love in the last sentence is absolutely fine, using the word CHOOSE when it comes to sexuality kind of destroys your credibility to me. Sorry.

I'm bisexual, I don't give a s**t if people have a problem with it, I like both genders and bigots can ******** off.

You see, m'dear, pansexuality is half label half statement. It says that the body is merely a vessel and that the ultimate desirability lies within the spirit. It also says that there are more than two genders.
...Also, if one more person accuses me of being a furry, there will be wrath. Black, leather wrath. With diamonds. And a fuzzy lining.

You guys can PM me if any of you ever need to talk about anything.

My father..called the police when I came out to him. I'm not even joking. Long story. I'm still dealing with it. It wasn't even intentional.

Wow this is interesting so if i understood this right: a pansexual is attracted to the spirit that is in the vessel(body) and not to the body per se or the gender? so if for example (not hitting on you) my spirit clicked with yours you would be attracted to me as a pansexual person? Btw I consider myself bisexual with a lovely gf however this really interests me and kind of reminds me of my way of thinking sometimes. Maybe i misunderstood the term pansexual but with me sometimes i get attracted to something i cannot put a finger on it a certain energy a person puts out or a certain vibe i get from a person that makes me curious for that person. Buttttt I also can enjoy outward beauty...do pansexuals only concentrate on spirituality or do they also enjoy or appreciate beauty that is outward?

My question is, why is it that any of you have the sexuality that you do?

Is it nature, did you chose it, and are you happy with it?

Thanks.
I just am. It could be a combination of nature (genetics, fetal environment, hormones, brain chemistry) and environment (socialization: gender, sexuality), though I didn't consciously make a decision on what gender I'd be attracted to. It just happened that way.
There is a choice involved, there's the choice to follow through, to be open, to allow those feeling to blossom and to not repress them, to explore their personal significance, to allow those feelings to materialize into real relationships and into a lifestyle. I made that choice, and I'm happy with it.
Perhaps some people choose their attractions, that's fine. I don't see the need to "prove" a biological root for it, it should simply be a valid option. We shouldn't have to break down into tears and beg for mercy because "lawd, we can't help it". ******** that noise. [/rant]

I had an inkling I was bisexual when I was 12 or 13.... some stuff(feelings I had as a younger child) made a lot more sense after that.

I got accused of being a BUG(bisexual until graduation) when I came out at 15 and just "faking it" or whatever, since it's a "trend" or something?

I'm 27 now, and it's most definitely NOT a phase or a trend. I'm with a man currently(my fiancé) and I remain bisexual.

I know I didn't choose it, and I'm "happy" with it, insofar as I'm "happy" I enjoy certain foods etc. I'm neutral on the whole thing, although I wish people were more accepting.
I'm an asexual, and an aromantic one at that. I feel very deep friendship for people, but not anything past that really.

I think I was definitely born like this. I can remember my dad saying something about me having a boyfriend when I'm older as a child and I started crying. Whenever someone mentioned marriage or children, I'd recoil at the thought, even as a kid and it wasn't because I thought boys had cooties (never did).

I'm quite happy with it, and I don't think I'd change it even if I could.
Guess.

I hate being in the closet. It's not my friends who are the problem, it's my family.
Why do we have "love" as an emotion?
In order to most prominently push us toward reproducing.

Love is nothing more then mathematical occurrences and chemicals in your brain. Sorry to break it to you.

I have the same problem. I'm gay, and I'm in love with my best friend(who is straight)
He knows and hes still my friend, but I dare not tell my parents, My dads a homophobe. Ironic isnt it! I'm happy with. You know what they say its in my DNA I'm Gay. Pun intended LOL!
I am undecided- might want to add that to the list. While it's easy for me to appreciate a girl's assets, along with a guy's body, I have never felt attracted to either.
I'd have to say Pansexual.
Which means I am open to male, female, and everything inbetween.
