Important things I should know about this topic?

So, I have a relative who is mentally ill, and came charging at my relative with a butcher knife attempting to kill her. I don't know for sure what it wrong with her, i do know she is in the asylum now. She might be a guest at my household someday though. So, I'll list her symptoms and then can some of you tell me stuff I shoulld know about her disorder. I know I definitley want to stay safe and not set her off.

Her symptoms:
Anxiety caused by hallucinations of doors opening up.
Excessive irritabilty about the rain.
She is very desperate to control her mother & gets angry when her attempts don't work.
She goes into a rage when the phone rings.
She has mood swings where out of no where she'll start screaming, I think there may have been times where she spent hours screaming.
She is too scared to leave the house, or get a job.
She has nightmares of ghosts stealing everything in her room, and then killing her by merely squishing her, and she thinks the dreams will come true, which causes anxiety.
She got very angry a time one of her other relatives hugged her.
She tried to kill her own mother with a butcher knife for telling her to clean her room.
She most of the times thinks that there is NOTHING wrong with her.

(btw yes, when I listed these symptoms I was referring to them I didn't state the exact degree of the symptoms though since I already said they are symptoms at a certain degree)

Other info:
She got way more mentally ill after her father died of some disease. Oh, and Idk for sure I think that the first trigger of her mental illness MIGHT have been from the death of someone on the front steps of the house she lives in Idk for sure though. Btw, the person who died on the front steps of the house, died from a bullet.

Please tell me things I should know about the mental disorder she has?

I think that many of those are phobias. P.T.S.D. could be an explanation for some, but not all. I think that there is something damaged in her brain that causes the optical nerve to me transmitted wrong, but I am no doctor. That is what makes sense to me.

Insane asylums are not terribly good at diagnoses, the suggestion is that to be in one one is already determined to suffer from insanity.

Ummm....Ptsd does CAUSE shaking, anxiety and also nightmares (sometimes). Please make sure the info you provide someone with is correct.
