I don't think any fetish has a real connection to anything in your psyche other than the fact that it's dirty or taboo. That's 50% of the turn-on from fetishes.

I have to disagree, out of my several fetishes I do not feel any taboo from them anymore, and they work just the same for me to this day.

I have a foot fetish! It developed from watching Klar's work from Deviantart. Holy s**t, I love how she draws feet.
My girlfriend can't stand it though. She's extremely ticklish on her feet and doesn't want me nuzzling all over them.

Other fetishes.
Bondage fetish: Fft. Duct tape and strap ons. Whips and handcuffs. It seriously gets me off. I believe that developed from looking at too much porn. But one day I actually tried it and boy was I suprised how much I LOVED it.

Homosexuality fetish: Don't matter if your gay guys or gay girls, I have such a fetish for anything gay gaygay gaygay. That developed from my first years on the interwebs. My first reaction to it was: "this is bad"..and then shortly afterwards: "Omg, this is cute." And then slowly progressed into this raging hormone thing.

Gas Masks: LKKDJF. Goes along with my Nazi fetish a bit. I actually went about to seek this one out. Me and the gf were looking for new character ideas and we developed some great ones. Every since then it's gotten unhealthy. We're even buying a set of them for Halloween......I think that...is going to be fun.
