What are some social norms at a college?

Binge drinking, drug use of all kinds, crazy polygamous rabbit sex or burning shameful lonely chastity, barbaric hazing of new students, periodic depression and suicide and general listlessness while pretending to be happier than ever. "This is the greatest time of my life! I'm finally free of my damn parents! Now please excuse me while I go think about cutting my wrists!"
