I'm not taking anything away from USA or anything, I just find it interesting to see which countries come out top when population, GDP and weighted medals come into play.

I personally find it odd that only the gold medals count in the table, and they aren't weighted. :/

I'm not taking anything away from USA or anything, I just find it interesting to see which countries come out top when population, GDP and weighted medals come into play.

I personally find it odd that only the gold medals count in the table, and they aren't weighted. :/I get that, but I'm not thinking about all that other stuff.
I think that's just a way for people to say the top winners aren't really the top winners.
For me, it's just the number of medals and how many times our athletes get on the podium.
