I'm trying to change my username, but it tells me that the one I want is taken.

But I know it's not, because nothing comes up when I search for it.



If someone else had that name, and changed it, am I able to have it? or is it a one time use?

I had the username on another older account, but have changed it since.

It can take anywhere from 20 minutes to 20 hours for a name to clear the system and become available after being changed.

There's also always a possibility that, due to changes in allowable characters and what Gaia defines as different enough, that there is something too similar by current standards
