It isn't just your problem. And yes I have heard that they are working on it. But the mods can't do much about it but tell the admins what the problem is so now we just need to be patient and wait till they get it fixed. (I've been like this for the past 3 days) and if you really don't like being a shadow, you just use the female default charater.
