How often do Gaia take applications for moderator positions? I think i have the qualities required to be a moderator and i would love to help out more on the site.

It's an open application process.
If you have the link,you can apply.
The only restraint that comes with this is that the slots fill up quite quickly (there are only one hundred).

The application is like an inbox. It only holds 100 at a time.
As per my understanding when one is denied or accepted that place opens up. But I am beginning to think that they open the application to the masses when they are done.
But gaia is always hiring new moderators. Just keep checking the link.

Well, like some moderators say, patience is the first step.

Indeed, it is like a little test itself as a quality for a Mod xD Some qualities are desired and some are needed...For example, patience is needed since you will have to deal with some tasks which may result improperly if delt with wrong whereas kindness is desired for gaia to be a respectful site.

I have a quick question:

In the FAQ, I notice you said your account "needs" to be at least 6 months old.
Is it as much of a necessity as being at least 18?

I'm just curious, because I would love to be a moderator. I almost left this site because of the inappropriate posts that irritated me, but I decided I wanted to stay and fight it.

My account is only 3 months old, though.
