I bought 5000 GC just now but it says my tier has nothing on it.

You need to spend that amount of cash, not just buying the cash. The amount of cash spent during the event must meet the tier to claim that tier's prize.

Looks like the spending event is over. If you weren't able to buy anything from the cash shop, you won't get credit for the tiers. They'd probably have more of those in the future anyway.

Nope. The announcement said it ends today September 25th at 2:59pm PDT (pacific daylight saving time). At the time I posted my reply above, it was already 3:05pm, which means it ended right on time. 3nodding

I think you looked at the date for reward redemption.
