How do you delete your forum topics??

You can't.
Only moderators can delete threads, and they will only do that if the thread in question is breaking the ToS.

I have heard that you can PM a forum assistant for the forum your topic is in, but you have to give them a good reason why you want it to be deleted. But otherwise you cannot delete your own threads.

You can PM a Forum Assistant to move your thread when you misplaced it, but they can't delete them.
Only moderators can.

P.S. If you think about PMing a mod... "I just want it gone" isn't really a good reason.

you can edit your posts - you could delete the text that's in them, leaving them blank - but not the entire thread.
