Wait until you see a mistletoe icon above your characters head, then click on the avatar of the person you want to kiss on the thread you're reading.

You just surf around the forum and then when you see the mistletoe icon and then you just click on someones Avi and you will kiss them...

but I think you should still be able to carol... didn't lanzer extend it to christmas day...? (he had an additional comment in the announcements)
