Hacked Account

So if an account is hacked and you submit a report, does that account normally disappear? UtauRose's account was hacked and a report was submitted, but no verification came in saying that it was received and now suddenly the account is gone and we're at a loss of what to do or what's going on. Can anyone please explain this?

When a hack report is properly submitted, you will receive a confirmation/reference number. That's basically it. Accounts are never deleted from the system so what probably happened is the hacker changed the username to cover his tracks and make it harder for the original owner from re-gaining access. After roughly a month, give or take, they should get a PM from a mod with an update of the progress. If not, the person who got hacked can message a mod and ask for it themselves.

Since they changed the email everything is supposed to go to is that why she never got a confirmation number or anything then?
How would you contact a mod?
Sorry for asking so many questions. She's just really upset about it and she's worked so hard on that account.

The confirmation number doesn't go to an e-mail, it shows up on the page after you finish the hack report. If she didn't get one then that means the report didn't go through. If she kept getting the same form over and over after hitting submit, that means the page was refreshing because she didn't fill it out correctly. If that is the case, she needs to fill out another one. Make sure she fills in all of the blanks. If she doesn't know an answer, she needs to put "I don't know" or "N/A". Once she gets the number, make sure to tell her to hang onto it so she can PM a mod with it if she doesn't get a reply after four weeks.

No, she wouldn't. If she didn't fill it properly the first time, then it didn't send, so how would they know that she attempted that first time? They won't. However, if she doesn't fill out another hacking report and get a confirmation/reference number, then the possibility of her getting her account back is pretty much zero.
