Deleting an account?

Hello. First off, I apologize if this was a topic already. I couldn't find one.
I had on old account from when I was a kid. I recently logged into it just to see if it was even active anymore. I would really like to delete the old account and just keep this one. There's no need for the old account. Is there a way to delete it? Thank you.

you cannot have accts deleted however you can go to the help center and ask them to close it out for you which is essentially asking for the acct to be banned at your request

tell them to close my acc to lol
