I believe it was sent out to everyone to inform them of the changes to Auto Cash. By sending it out via PM rather than a Dev notice, they insured that everyone would get it and be as informed as informed as possible.

I have never used it before,here's what it says:

Hi,

We have an update to the AutoCash feature you use to refill your monthly Gaia Cash balance that we want you to know about. When we first started offering the AutoCash option, everyone who signed up received 10% off their Cash Shop purchases as a thank you. This 10% discount was originally supposed to expire at the end of 2011, but we decided to let it continue for awhile longer to show our appreciation for our users.

We are now finally going to remove the 10% discount at the end of May. You'll still be able to take advantage of it until then, and even after it's removed, you'll still receive both the extra 200 Gaia Cash every month and the exclusive bonus item every three months simply for using the service.

Thank you again for using AutoCash, and for being part of Gaia.

I got that PM as well and have never used autocash. I've only ever used my debit card on a couple of occasions. Hopefully it's just a harmless, informational PM, and not a sign that they have, or will be, taking money out of my account. I'd like some assurance that they don't have me signed up for some crap I did NOT sign up for.

Yeah, I received the PM as well, and I've never used Autocash.

I better not get charged for something I didn't sign up for (and I'd like to know why I'm signed up without my consent, if they're strictly sending it to Autocash users). That's all the concern I have.
