At first I was like "I could really care less that they don't have them". Then I got a funny anon valentine and was like "I want to send out funny anon valentines" but I'm far to lazy/uncreative to come up with good ones, and now I do sort of wish they had kept those as an option for sending valentines.

2011 didn't have madlibs.
It was 2009 and 2010 (as far as I recalled), but people did b***h on 2010 only because it was a rehashed and censored madlib of 2009. Calling an event or half-assed would be an overestimation though.

Didn't care for the mad libs. They were kinda bad...but Gaia and I have never really seen eye to eye on humor. They would have been an improvement for...whatever this thing is they've come up with though.

I'd enjoyed those dance events a great deal myself. o uo

The big bummer for me when it comes to this event is that there's just nothing particularly bedazzling about it that would bring about memories from years to come. I don't care if they would have done dance or madlibs or what, but anything more than purely sending notes and hoarding items would have been fun. I think I will be treasuring the fact that you can choose your music in the flash space though; the ability to flip through (an albeit very limited) number of songs is neat.

That said, I miss mad libs.

No the anger last year was that the event items cost us gold and cash to get and we sort of had to rely on other people to get them if we didn't have the gold or cash ourselves. Two years ago it was probably because they recycled the madlibs from 2009. Last year was the Diedrich and Radio Jack overly mushy Valentines Vs. the Anti-Valentines gold and cash event.

This. I liked being able to just scroll on down the list, since some of my friends have more complicated names. And yes, the mad libs were fun, and while they get old fast when it's the ONLY thing, it sort of became a Gaia tradition to have them.
