This one's better, and closer to the Steampunk concept. (The keyboard is actually fashioned using buttons from an old-fashioned typewriter.)

But how would you equip that to the avatar?
I like all this stuff! Especially the guns and swords!
Gundamu
What about a clockwork sword? It would be a large sword with a bunch of gears on it.
Be careful with what you ask for; Gaia might create an item that just doesn't look as pleasing you envisioned.

I like this and I'm all for clothing diversity. Where does "Steam Punk" come from?

And now I post my suggestions:

Steampunk guns. Look at how awesome they would be.

All in all I am very much against having guns on Gaia, but these are excellent looking fantasy pieces. I hope they do keep up with the Steampunk items, as you can see I love this months MC.

cyberpunk is a common following, fantasy but set in the future

steam punk is a take off of this, based in the age of steam

i know a few people that call it steam pulp, as the punk part never comes into it

That's untrue; Many Steampunk novels have Punk themes, such as corrupt authority and fighting for change.

Steam punk comes from basicly people liking the steam powered era, as well as reading the writings of Jules Verne and H.G. Wells to name a couple. The anime steamboy is a good example of anime steampunk. In some steampunk you have real technological developments like the computer occurring at an earlier date. Other examples of steampunk contain alternate history–style presentations of "the path not taken" of such technology as dirigibles or analog computers; these frequently are presented in an idealized light, or a presumption of functionality. Hole this helps any who had questions, if you have more feel free to pm me.

... wait. I know steampunk is fantasy, but why in the blue hell would someone make a clockwork SWORD? Swords are already in fine use, they wouldn't need to waste materials on faffing it up.

Now clockwork machinated weapons makes more sense, like in Girl Genius. Yes, I present unto you, the reader of this post, a brilliantly written and beautifully drawn steampunk webcomic, completely free to read, with tons of examples of steampulp/punk workings.

I think you guys would like this very much :D

The same reason someone would make an ice sword.

I love steampunk and the victorian age so I'm all for this personally. I would love to see more items over the years that deal with those two aspects of life. I know I'd buy it all.
Yes, we should really have more of thoses types of clothing.

But for someone to make a sword out of ice is to have a sword in the first place.
Gears and clockwork are made to make something go, yes? What is there in a sword to have to make it go?

A lot of reasons. In my favorite Steampunk Fantasy game, there were two major examples of this; The Clockwork Dagger and the Electrified Sword. The former was a dagger which reacted to the pressure of being jammed into something by pumping the blade in even deeper, causing much more damage than a blade alone, and the latter was a blade which had been fitted with electrical equipment, and had had its handle insulated (I imagine). The sword gave electrical damage. Of course one could simply do that with magic, but they could also do it with science, so why the feck not?

No, they have the ice first and then form it into a sword. Why does the TM skirt and corset have gears on them? What purpose do they serve? The gears on the sword don't have to do anything.
