I'm sort of scared of snakes IRL. For snakes I'm familiar with, I can tell if they're venomous or not, but for snakes I'm not familiar with, I'm often wondering whether they're safe or dangerous. I can look at them from behind glass or from afar, but if I were to randomly encounter a snake in the wild, I'd most likely freeze. xD; And the Nagini attacking scenes in the 5th and 7th Harry Potter movies furthered my fear of them

However, I wouldn't mind seeing more snakes on Gaia. 3nodding

I have no issue with the items we already have. I'd just like a bit more variety in our non-cat companions, and snakes are something I've been particularly fixated on lately (as I've been trying to cosplay a RP character with a snake familiar, and none of the snakes on gaia are the right color...or if the right color, not the right size).

It's a bit of a shame they aren't more popular, imo.

/Not even going to pretend and say that I did not squee with extreme joy when I opened this topic.

I would love to see any of these things. Snakes are probably my second favorite reptile (next to gators and crocs), there's so many colors and different species to use/take inspiration from -- I'm a little surprised that there's only a small handful of items/companions. sad

EDIT: (seconding the rattlesnake idea, at the very least. :C They're so cute and onry...)
