I can't imagine which of her songs would be part of a tribute item.

It's hard to choose a favorite among so many great tracks, but "The Greatest Love of All" is one of the best, most powerful songs ever written about self-preservation, dignity. Its universal message crosses all boundaries and instills one with the hope that it's not too late to better ourselves. Since it's impossible in this world we live in to empathize with others, we can always empathize with ourselves. It's an important message, crucial really. And it's beautifully stated on the album.

Why does every time someone famous die, someone posts a thread asking for a tribute item?

The artists did that for MJ, because they wanted to.

Many famous people have died since then and despite a user wanting an item, hasn't happened.

The only ones who would ever benefit from a so called tribute item, is us.

Okay guys two things here A. it's way to ******** early to be calling for any kind of tribute item. We just found she was dead LESS THAN AN HOUR AGO. Give the world and her family time to mourn her death and the ME to figure out what caused it. And B. what the heck would they make that would be iconic Whitney? Jobs had the turtlenecks and glasses and Michael Jackson had his glove. What did Whitney wear that was her and her alone that people would identify with her? What did she say or do, outside of her drug issues with Bobby Brown, that people could translate into something that represents her and her alone?

Yeah this time it's just not going to happen. Quit being so greedy every time a celebrity dies and expecting Gaia to make something for the person. The Grammys are going to be hard to watch tomorrow now that she's gone.
