Why does Gaia use phpBB? The biggest forum needs to use the best forum software. biggrin

vBullitan doesn't support certain modifications like phpBB2 does.

In fact, it's not really even phpBB2 anymore, as it's been edited so much. O_o

In fact, it's not really even phpBB2 anymore, as it's been edited so much. O_o

This pretty much sums it up. vBulletin, and all the others for that reason, only allow for so much modification. The whole point of Gaia being phpBB2 (past tense?) was to allow changes with... php! Gaia couldn't be what it is today with anything else.
