in one of those posts,there is a mention about a supposed "quest system",and it's been like,how many years since that post was made?what happen to that idea,I think that's a GREAT idea.

Few and far between, but there were a few yes XD

The sponsor ones seem to be for the most part template based though, so I guess that's why they're pumping them out (that and they get paid to do so). All I've ever heard is the backwings quest is going to require a huge amount of effort and time to do, so I can only imagine how long it would take to code something like that XD I would love to know what sort of phase it's in though, whether it's still in planning or not <<

We need that back-wings quest, like, now.

i have to agree... i'd love to have more non sponsor quest... like the back wings they have promised to give us in the quest system...

but look how long it took them to get Zomg out and how many years where they taking about that before they got it up and running?

so i'm not going to hold my breath for it happening any time soon..

Well that's true XD From what I've seen over the years, things seem to get put on the backburner and revisited...much later x.x I just wish we knew where it was at o.o

The basic excuse for the delay is that it's supposed to be epic.

Quite a few months ago, Lanzer did say they planned to have it out before the end of the year -- I might be misremembering, though. Now, Lanzer is either a) somewhat out of the loop or b) a master of misdirection, but if you reread his posts... pretty much everything he says does come true eventually.

I hope the return of proper quests does come faster than "eventually", especially the backwings one. zOMG does the quest system quite well, it needs to be brought back to the rest of the site.


Oh, our previous non-sponsor quests:
1) Moira's newbie quest (2 different versions)
2) Edmund's quest for black orchids (Halloween 2K7)
3) The Von Helson twins' quest for... something, I don't remember, but you ended up with a blood drop brooch at the end (also Halloween 2K7)
4) Liam's quest for love (last year some time? may still be active. You get a picture with him with a fish in his mouth at the end.)
5) all the zOMG quests (yes, they count)

I know of moira's newbie quest,this mules only three days old. xD well that sucks,but those are event quests,none but the first and last one are here to stay.
