its not that simple, what about new users that don't know, scriptors shouldn't be allowed to run this site... its just not right... in law class we studied ethics gaia isn't being ethical allowing there to be a risk, its a bad business practice... there letting it happen,

Gaia's ad companies are now just as bad as the scriptors- I've now heard of multiple people getting virus alerts from ONLY browsing Gaia, and the attacks were sourced to Gaia presumably from the ads-

Most of these people had adblock and flashblock as well, so Gaia is now trying to BYPASS our protection methods, that or their ad companies are.

Most of these people had adblock and flashblock as well, so Gaia is now trying to BYPASS our protection methods, that or their ad companies are.

Adblock plus is strong enough to counter this. I've only had one intrusive ad and I blocked it before it could redirect.

I've heard that the ads are starting to redirect to (sadly) porn sites, hack sites, ect.
And yes, I've also heard that it's originating from Gaia.

It's pretty sad..

Yeah, its strong enough for some. But NK has adblock plus and flashblock and she's gotten viruses sourced from gaia and their ads, and many redirect attempts. I think many others here also have adblock plus and they still get redirects.

Sadly after reading your post I have to agree on everything about it. It's sad it's taking them so long to get this problem fixed. To be honest I don't think they will ever fix this problem. But anything is possible.

I get random pop ups from scanner and I'm not even on gaia when it happens so to tell you I don't know if it is caused by Gaia itself or something eles.

But since you brought that up I am going to be more careful now and watch out.

Ok. I'll also stay in my house all the time so I don't get hit by a car. And never leave my bed so I dont trip. And never open my eyes so I dont see anything offensive. And never breathe so I don't catch anthrax.

This is reminding me to ask you something... if this were to happen to me since I recently downloaded adblock plus, how can I exactly block it before it redirects me?
