I think that when you display your inventory as a post action, you should be able to edit it.
What if you were throwing a giveaway or a lotto or something. After one is done, you can't change the item you're showing. |

"Mahree Blueraven" Would be cool to have contests or arenas for player made items. Maybe a 'game' that lets you create items and post them in an arena. The winners get to have their item available (in player-made items shop?) Oh that would be fun!! That is brilliant. I like it. But how would it work as a game? Maybe they could make a new arena. Maybe, to make it fair to Gaians who have no artistic talent, it could be description based with the option of adding a pic? |

Like you take a little test and once your done you get results of the things you can be and the amount of gold you get paid...Or maybe a list of jobs you can pick from. They can add a little employment office in barton town or gambino or one of the future maps. It sounds diffcult to do but its just a idea. I'm not sure if someone mentioned this already or if its in the works. Maybe the NPCs could have jobs for Gaians. For instance, Ian could pay you {x} amount of gold for cleaning Rufus. Edmund could hire you to fetch him some items. It could be like the Rejected Olympics games. How well you perform decides your pay. And to make sure users don't take advantage of the game it could be limited to, say, three jobs a day? Just a thought |

When you sell an item and set it to "Buy Only", you should be able to see the 2% listing fee at the screen at which you enter your password to confirm the vend. That, I think, would be seriously convinient.

I suggest an option for having your avatar's eyes closed. Think of the emotion that can portray! It's almost like having the blindfold on except you can see that their eyes are closed instead of assuming.
It doesn't have to be a different eye set. Just come up with a generic expression for each avatar (like with the mouths) and that would be that. It would replace their eyes with lines or however you had them. |

sweatdrop i don't know witch post this would go under or if this has been sugessted already but since gaia has a bank i think there should be a feature for all gaia's to have a bank account and beable to save gold for something they want or need, cause with the gold just sitting around in all gaia's pockets it burn's a hole and by the time something comes up to buy or give back they have to work hard to get the gold back. i think a bank account for all gaia's to save gold is a good idea

Or am I compleatly blind and have missed that for the past 5ish months? -Edit- Oh, I thought of more things. For the creator of a thread to be able to deleat posts and to be able to transfer this ability to another person. Instead of having to create a whole new thread. A way to rate favorite posts within a thread, like a web site called AnimeGrapevine.com based on your rank you would be able to give a certian amount of points per day to threads. I could go into more detail with this if someone would like. I have an idea similar to this one, although instead of transferring I'm thinking more along the lines of sharing. After all, many RPs that I have been in have had people who are 'second in command' It's often quite difficult for these people to moderate the threads, especially if the owners are away for one reason or another. |

-They should have a site-wide music player and chat widgets that people can put on their profiles so that it's uniform. -They could have a Gaia radio when there are big events (like the Olympics). -For profiles with a lot of media (pictures, music, videos, etc), Gaia should provide two versions of the profile: one with the media, and one without. -Up at the top, they should always have the GST. -For player-owned shops, the forum, and the marketplace, they should add a drop-down menu where you can choose what page you want to go to. (For player-owned shops, this would be for the player's inventory.) -For game rooms, you should be able to organize the rooms by occupancy and alphabetically. Also, when you click on the rooms, there should be a little box that pops up on the right that says who's already in the room. -You should be able to see all of your friends on ONE page. Or they should make it so that you can see more of your friends on one page. -When in a game room, they should add the option to add friend just like they do in towns. -In profile journals, when you hover over a journal date or click on it, it should show a little blurb so people can find specific journal entries easier. -In towns and the cinema, they should make the chatbox more scrollable (goes further up). And if you click on someone's name, their avi should highlight or something so you can find them easily. -They should add a status option in people's profiles that you can easily view in the friends list. It could be like "playing cards" or "rating in the Arena", so you can find your friends and hang out with them. -Add spelling and grammatical check. -Add the options in private messages into forum messages (colors, size, etc). -Allow change of volume in cinema before and after the movie. -There could be a live chat once a month or however long with a selected character from the Gaia community (the characters, admins, or mods). But that might be hard because of bandwidth issues. |

Is there a housing/towns thread/petition somewhere?
Houses should cost gold. It's a nice sentiment that every Gaian can have a free house of their own. But most soon realize that houses serve no real purpose and they prefer to hang out in the main populated towns. So the town area continues to expand, taking up more server attention (I'd imagine), and most houses sit vacant or perhaps with starter furniture and are never visited. This results in people viewing houses as even more worthless. If towns occupied less space with a higher density of well-cared for houses, people would enjoy them all the more. There would be more reason to explore the various areas as well. 10k seems like a reasonable price. And allow people to sell their houses back to Gaia for 5k. In conjunction with the above idea, people should be able to reserve town areas (as Gaia used to allow) so that a guild or group of friends can establish a place to hangout. Also, towns navigation should be revamped so as to not default to the Barton 1000s. Perhaps an extra level of zoom, starting with the 1000s at the center, allowing an initial jump to anywhere in towns. |

I think that they should add a sudoku style minigame somewhere on the site. It would also be nice if they had a lot more games that could earn you gold on a regular basis.

INSTEAD of a 2% tax based on the profits you make in the marketplace, we need a 2% LISTING fee that is automatically subtracted from your gold amount when you choose to list an item in the marketplace. Why: To help ease inflation, and to cut back on the amount of ridiculous "Buy Now" prices you see in the marketplace. You all know what I mean; people try to sell starter clothes for some insane amount of money... I TOTALLY AGREE! wink I THINK ITS A PERFECT IDEA |
