I don't know if this has been already suggested, or if it should go in the item suggestion instead, but my mates and I think that you should be able to un-equip hairstyles like you can with the tatoos. After all, tatoos are more permenant that hair but you have to buy a hairstyle every time you want to change it, and if you want to change it back you have to buy the original style again. If we could buy the hairstyles like we can clothes it would be better.

The one suggestion that I would like to put forth
for Gaia is enhanced control over a thread for
the maker of it. A lot of people, when making
a thread meant to stay around for a while, will
reserve first-page posts for use later. Some,
however, fall a little short of the needed amount
of posting space. I think it would be rather handy
if the thread's owner could commandeer other posts
if needed in order to change them to something more
useful. To stop fake reportings, though, the change
should have to be in the thread creator's name. Otherwise
they could change it to make it look like someone else
said something that they didn't. =D

HAY HOW ABOUT MORE RANDOM ITEMS AND MORE ITEMS IN THE DAYILY CHANCE?

Here's an idea I've had for a while.


I'm hearing-impaired, and as a result it's difficult for me to follow what is being said in movies and TV shows unless the volume is turned WAY up (which is a double-edged sword, for several reasons), or the captions are turned on.

So, naturally, imagine my frustration in not being able to enjoy the movies in the Cinemas because of this sad


So my suggestion is a button that toggles subtitles on and off for only the person viewing to see (just like the pause button works). Thank you for reading this and please consider it!

There is one feature I really want and that is the item layering choice.
It is already used on tektek in it's dream free avatar section and it enables new, very fun combinations of items.

I recently had my account hijacked. And was returned to me 2 days ago, there has been increasing amounts of hacking, cracking and Highjacking incidents. Here are a few Ideas that have been bouncing around in my head that would give individual the power to protect them selfs better in the first place. Ultimatly saving staff valuable time to work on new features.

ID # or Account name; Use account name or random system generated ID# to login vice nickname i.e. I would no long use hntrchan to login but my real name (first.mi.last) or (########).
benifit; far less likely to get someone trying to guess your password becase they seen you wear an item they wish to steal.

I.P lock or I.P authorized list; Option to lock your account to your I.P. Address or add Authorized list like school, work and home. I.e. Even some one gets a hold of my login in info and password it will do nothing since the I.P. is not authenicated
benifit; Will cut out most the novice hackers, Leaving only the people with the skills to to mask IP addresses. And frankly if they have the abilty to todo either,. Then your not going to stop them from taking what ever they want anyhow.

User set banking pin# ; used the same way as debit cards.
benifit; prevent accounts that have been hijacked from trading everything of value.
