Guild/Forum

-Extend the new posting layout to the guilds, we're still stuck in the Gaian Stone Age using drop down menus.

"Eternally Gone"
Whenever we go to clean up our guilds (because they do get messy with old threads from time to time) we have to delete the old threads one by one. Instead, it would make things a lot easier to have a little checkbox arrow . This way, we don't have to go in to the thread, delete it, get sent back to the main forum's first page, and start over again. If you are a captain or vice captain, you'd be able to see the checkboxes, much like you are able to see the 'Moderator Panel.' They could be on the left side of the main forum page, right before the title of the threads.

-Being a Captain of one guild and a Vice Captain in another, this would be EXTREMELY helpful.

This has probably been suggested a number of times, and I'm sure there's a petition for it, but please Gaia, make hairstyles like normal items. It annoying when you have to recreate your avatar and have to buy your hairstyle back, or when you only want a certain colour hair to match your avatar.


- I agree, tons of gold is lots when we lose an expensive hair style for the sake of recreating an avatar. Gaians should be able to buy and KEEP hairstyles, kind of like wigs.

Misc. Feature Suggestion:

An Account setting that lets you disable the Announcements notifications. The frequency of announcements has been too much for me to handle and is frustrating, I just want to get rid of the popup notifications and check it when I have spare time through the News & Events section like we used to.

Inventory storage suggestion:

When you put your items in storage, password protect it with a different password other then the one for the main account. Kind of like a vault for your items, and if you get hacked, they won't be stolen. biggrin

This is A Jigsaw Suggestion


When scrolling along the bottom you have to move one puzzle at a time, since I like the gwee one, I have to click the arrow forever, perhaps make it so hitting the arrow will move all six pictures or five pictures.

A Guild Suggestion


A messaging system would be nice. A way for the captain and co-captain to communicate with the members. Maybe have a limit so crew does not have the power, this way important messages can be sent. To avoid overuse there could be a price that comes from the guild account for each message. There could also be a sign-up when you join a guild.

A Game Suggestion


I would really like to see a Gaia 20Q (Or 20 Questions)

You would have to think of a random item, person, or thing from Gaia culture, and play vs. an NPC who has to guess the thing you are thinking about. The more questions it takes to guess it, the more gold you get (After a certain amount [say, 5 questions] to make sure you actually have to play)

If the NPC can't guess it, you get a bonus, if they can, no bonus.

Or, you could make it more general, like the original 20Q, and have it (the NPC) ask the normal questions.

i think that there should be a school. i know that it sounds dumb but u know how in virtual hollywood in the theature u can throw stuff? well maybe u can throw things at the bored with that sandwitch u saved from lunch...and on the bus to school u can talk to kids and in detention u can wispher to ppl...and at resess u can play mini games! for lunch u can buy things with tikets and if u have anything left over u can save it.

I think there should be an option to delete sent PMs as well as to clear our trade history if we want to.

I would like to see the ability to have 3 house upgrades. One to make the house bigger on a ground floor, and the other two upgrades for an upstairs or a basement of some sort. Perhaps even giving a choice of a basement or an upstairs. There could be a "Stairs" icon above the Profile and Journal icon on the left of the screen when in someone's house in order to go to the other level of the gaia house. That way, there could be more room for parties, or collections, or just about anything, but not so much space that it's rediculous.

In the market, under "Sort By" options, there should be the option to look for either "Male Only" or "Female Only" clothes/accessories/etc. Lots of times I'll get a ton of results, but when I go to try on the item I get the "Sorry, this item cannot be worn on your avatar" message sad

New Store, Prizes, Game Options

Pinball should have a highscore, complete with trophies, like fishing. Also, the prizes need an improvement. Having loads of shirts is saddenning since they are worth like nothing.
Instead, what if we won arcade tickets? Like casino tickets, but now they have the option of more arcade games.
Also, they could open a store where you can trade in the tickets for items, like in a real arcade.

If someone is interested in this idea, here's the petition linky thingy that the idea was proposed in.

An iPhone - friendly version of Gaia? That would be good. I find myself accessing Gaia over edge frequently, and am tired of how slow it loads sweatdrop

I have two suggestions--

1. A way to organize wishlists. Either by price or type or let the user organize it themselves from most to least wanted.

2. Can we please do something about email change confirmations? Instead of having the confirmation email sent to the NEW account, can we have the change confirmation sent to the OLD account. That way if a hacker gets into your account they can't change your information so easily.

When you enter the my gaia page, I think it would be nice to make it more like myspace with the friends status/moods or bulletins. It would be easy way to post what you are doing for all your friends to see.
     
When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love, love to explore that world up above.Out of the sea, wish I could be part of that world.

ok so for the summer fun event I think it would be funny if it rained fish in the towns!
or the bugs were replaced with fish!
then the fish would fly around the towns.
