Here's an interesting one, how about a quest sponsor....with a message.
You know, some sort of organization interested in educating people rather than making money. Educating about what? Well you guys can decide that one, though personally I have a pretty big soft spot for creatures in danger. So do a lot of Gaians, overall us Gaians are actually pretty nice folks who actually care about certain things. |

"Yami Takashi" remove Ink from the daily chance. The ink market has crashed already, and now its even more crashed then before. The Daily Chance already caused the first crash, and now its causing another crash because its putting out once rare inks like orange, gold, white, and purple. Gaia is to nice to the fishers. You guys took rare fish out of the Daily Chance but you put rare ink and inks that make rare ink in the Dasily Chance. It is unfair to us older members who had to work for our bugs and ink. I'm petitioning for this as we speak. You need to take a good long look at how much ink cost now comapred to what is was before the tattoo system and before the stupid dialy chance. |

I think Gaia Avatars need more facial expressions.
For example, being able to look angry, sad, worried, embarrassed, shy, in love, scared, devious, surprised, etc. It would allow us to put a lot more personality into our characters. I can't tell you how often I wanted to give my Avvie a cute pink blush on her cheeks. Speaking of blush, what about adding a Cosmetics NPC to the Salon so we could decorate ourselves with make-up or face paint. |

I think clothing should have more variety in options. for example, different styles to wear the pants or differnt ways to wear a jacket (buttoned, unbuttoned, sleeves or pantlegs rolled up, ect) It would make things more personable. |

I was thinking, what if there was a Story Arena, where Gaians could write short stories (like 1000char. - 15000char.) and then voted on. Similar to the Avi arena, except with the Story being the highlight, not the Avatar.

I know Gaia is trying to fix inflation with the 2% tax, but in the real world, where there are taxes there are price rises to cover the price of the taxes so people may continue to make just as much. So, here are a few counter-suggestions to help!
If you like any suggestions, or don't like them, please comment! smile 1) Release more cool, expensive items. If people have a place to sink gold for their avatar, they will sink gold into it. A few recent sets like the Elegant set are good examples. 2) Make an expensive item converter If you could turn in 100k gold and some items to get seal slippers (or some other cool, exclusive item), would you? Most people would say YES! It would cost a lot which means a money sink, AND the items on the exchanger would slowly reach a stable price. This could both sink money and stabilize donation items or any other expensive items you guys want to put in. 3) Make a risky game with big payoffs. If there was a game that had a high price and a high risk of loosing but with a high payout people would play it and not complain. Something like spending 1,000 per play (once an hour) to click a random spot on a map. If you're lucky you get a LOT of random gold and maybe an item back! Why a lot of money? Because gold doesn't depreciate and people will always pay for the chance to get more. Items given out by games tend to become worthless as they flood the market. smile 4) re-release Donation items in some new, Gaia-Gold expensive way. Just the oldest, most expensive items should be available in a VERY rare chance in some expensive to play game. Having items release lowers their prices and fights inflation naturally! Please consider some of these ideas. Taxes never are the way. A lot of people like these ideas as evidenced by this thread smile |

Instead of instituting a tax, how about they put in a new, optional gold sink that gives people something, but takes money out of the market and NOT making some way for them to get it for free? edit: oh, and why not charge...say 100k for a sex change... that'd be a huge gold sink-hole. Another point on the sex change shop I propose: Currently there is a limit on changing the sex of your avatar. You must delete your character and re-create it (losing any custom hairstyle). Most importantly, a user can only change the sex of an avatar two times on an account. 100k for a sex change may seem like a lot...but really, I believe more people would change sexes more often if there wasn't a two-time-only limit, no matter how expensive the sex-change charge. |

1. gift giving icon beside the tade icon on people's avis 2. boating, skiing, swimming, watersports in general 3. limit picture sigs (take pity on dial up users, please) 4. a report user button in games (I always have people begging me for stuff in games) |

I think that the guilds should have a guild home like the gaia homes only bigger and located at the guild it will give us something else to spend are guilds gold account on.most guilds gold account can become bigger then most peoples normal account I mean come on people only need about 6 to 7 subforums to a guild then the rest of the Gold does Jack crap it sits there looking pretty like you where some texas Oil Tycoon. let us spend the gold to purchase a guild home along with upgrades for more space, extra rooms and also allow special furniture and items just for the guild home if you do think of this idea
