Saoris Hyperdryve The only place I seem to have issues with that message is in my customize avatar page. I am intimately familiar with all my items there (many I've had for years) and I change clothing frequently. Too often I'm whizzing through my items trying on this and that and playing with multiple poses. I've never even gotten a slow down message on that page, generally my avatar just disappears as if I've lost internet connection (which happens often enough for that to be my first assumption) and it's not until I try to go to the main page that it gives me the message. While I do my best to slow down it always seems to be too fast for gaia. Now I understand if their systems really cannot handle that kind of activity from all of us, but I think the customize avatar should be set to slightly different rules. If you get a slow down message here it should have a slightly higher threshold until it is triggered and hold you for only a minute or two since the message is simply to slow down a little. I cannot imagine there being a need to stop bots in this area, what can trying on clothes do to earn gold? Nothing right? So there would be no bots in this area, stopping someone for more than a minute or two should not be necessary I think. It's also pretty unnecessary for it to appear on the inventory screen and while playing a Gee Boi Turbo or a Midsummer Swirl (or any item like those), but it still happens for those, too. sweatdrop I completely agree with what you said, though. True true. Pretty much any area where there would be no cause for botting because it earns no gold to do so or has any other advantage. |
