I'm glad I'm not the only one. sweatdrop

I'm confused on what's happening. o.O
Is it logging you out for moving too fast?

Duh.

It blocks you out for a bit because Gaia can't tell if you're a human or a bot, the kind of bot that refreshes pages super quickly just for that little "You got ____ Gold for browsing!" bonus to add up.

And if that continually happens, then it might auto-ban her for being a bot.

If lots of people donated just 2500 gold,

I could buy a Gaia-sama!
(Updated every 2500g by donation and natural gold gain)

Thanks anonymous benefactor for the Hired Help!

Okay, luckily, it only lasted a few minutes today.

I have a fast internet connection and I have never seen this screen. Wow.

I have no idea what to tell you, other than the fact that I'm sorry and that you should contact Gaia. It says if you get that message too many times you might get perma-banned! gonk

I have no idea who to contact, though. sweatdrop And it seems to be very... hit-and-miss. I've read about people who have slow connections and have gotten it, and people with fast connections who have never gotten it. It's... really confusing.

And I don't want to get banned just because I changed my avatar too fast!! Oh my God. gonk

I have fast internet and still get that message because of the tabs in Firefox... xD I open too many forum pages and it happens. I get it often too.

Exactly.

And I wouldn't mind it so much if I could get some official information about the warning, or if I didn't get it when I was doing the simplest things, like dressing myself or continuously using newly-released random item generators. Why release packs of nine if I'm going to get booted out of my account for a few hours for using all of them? gonk

Okay, I think I'm at the point to where I'm going to stop buying and "playing" the Cash Shop random item generator things if this keeps happening to me when I'm using them:

scream

I'm not doing it any faster than I do anything else!

Just thought I'd mention I'm having the exact same problem right now, probably from playing too many Midsummer Swirls.

I'm abusing the cash shop items like gaia wants me to, but I get banned for it? WTF gaia? gonk

I got that screen once today, which is crazy because my broken network card is showing 13% link at the moment and keeps skipping to no link at all >.<
It's impossible that I'm browsing too fast.

I know, that's exactly how I feel. gonk

Inscrutably

The system appears to have some flaws, and I'd really, really like it if I could get some official words about it. sweatdrop

I know we're not the only ones having this issue. gonk

Legal.

I usually switch between the Accessories tab and the Item tab pretty quick because I have trouble remembering what goes in which one, and then I suddenly remember and switch... and that usually boots me out.

The only place I seem to have issues with that message is in my customize avatar page. I am intimately familiar with all my items there (many I've had for years) and I change clothing frequently. Too often I'm whizzing through my items trying on this and that and playing with multiple poses. I've never even gotten a slow down message on that page, generally my avatar just disappears as if I've lost internet connection (which happens often enough for that to be my first assumption) and it's not until I try to go to the main page that it gives me the message.

While I do my best to slow down it always seems to be too fast for gaia. Now I understand if their systems really cannot handle that kind of activity from all of us, but I think the customize avatar should be set to slightly different rules. If you get a slow down message here it should have a slightly higher threshold until it is triggered and hold you for only a minute or two since the message is simply to slow down a little. I cannot imagine there being a need to stop bots in this area, what can trying on clothes do to earn gold? Nothing right? So there would be no bots in this area, stopping someone for more than a minute or two should not be necessary I think.

It's also pretty unnecessary for it to appear on the inventory screen and while playing a Gee Boi Turbo or a Midsummer Swirl (or any item like those), but it still happens for those, too. sweatdrop

I completely agree with what you said, though.
