They did put more clothes on some of the characters. I mean, Vanessa is no longer shoving her clevage in your face, and Sasha is wearing a long shirt and not just a cloth around her boobs.

I like Moira's new look, honestly. Liam looks great, too, and Ian and Rufus are looking snazzy (despite lacking a bit in the detail department).

I don't like Ruby's new look, though.

Actually, Sasha originally wore a swim top, not a "piece of cloth", much like the criss cross tops we have available in the gold shops.

i agree with you guys. too skinny is too much. moira is missing part of her bustline in my opinion because of how her shirt is hanging and really if you are that thin, you would not have that much bust to show. *thinks kiera knightley as example* i do wish some of the female npc were more thickened out and i did think sasha reminded me of the mtv chick. must be the trendy clothes thing. *shrug* but really, having characters this thin is not healthy for any audience. it does promote low self confidence in girls and pushes a viewpoint that has been in entertainment news for too long. i really don't care for the skinny stars of hollywood and i was glad to see that kind of rubbish not be perceived here on gaia. but now, i am not too happy with what i am seeing. the designs of the characters are cool but their bodies bother me more. we all in the real world can't become a size zero like how most of hollywood and models try to be. a dress size should not define a person and their healthyness. and here, the characters are starting to look like size zero to me. :/

I don't think the problem is so much skinnier - the NPCs have always been unhealthily skinny - as it is they look so much younger and more generic.

I think the anatomy is just really off. Sasha's neck is especially bizarre-looking.

I honestly don't really mind...the only thing that caught my eye is their boobs seemed to decrease lol.

But, it doesn't offend me...or make me feel pressured to be super skinny. Although I can understand how it may affect other girls.

I don't really know how I feel about it...I like the idea of new drawings either way, and for the most part I think these ones look great. But apparently there's plenty of people who disagree...

It doesn't bother me either way what they decide, whether to keep them, change them back, or redraw them completely.
I kind of feel sorry for the artist though, The drawings really don't seem that bad to me. =/

I worshiped Moira.
And they changed her for the worst.

Hell, they changed EVERYONE for the worst. ((Except Peyo and Louie.))
I can't even look at our beloved NPCs without feeling disgusted.

I like the art just fine myself, but I do with the girls weren't ALL so freaking skinny!! They're ALL like that and it's ridiculous! Sasha and Moira look basically anorexic, and the other girls aren't much better (for the record I think Ruby looks pretty though). I'm glad the boobs shrunk, but the rest didn't need too.....
Out of all the people I know, only two even approach the Sasha/Moira body. And one's a guy. There is nothing wrong for a girl to have some meat on her bones.
Other than that, I did like the shop update.

I have to admit, I also was a bit disappointed in the new art. It feels like several characters lost a great deal of personality and others had their personalities altered.

Moira in particular has become far more bland and sweetened down. Sasha was the only one who's thinness seemed excruciatingly unnatural but Vannessa also looks pretty terrible--why is she shaded differently than the others? And her pose is just...off. Her hair looks terrible too.

But Ian was the one I was really disappointed in. First--the outfit is so completely off that they even added a comment about it. The hat...is just...no. And why is his hair so bushy? I do like the wide eyed, crooked grin but the hair and hat are horrible. :

I realize it's unlikely that it was the same artist who originally drew them and even if it was, styles change over the years so we couldn't expect them not to look a little different. But for many of them, I feel it was a step back.

I'm sure I'll get used to it but...I really don't want to get used to Ian's poofy hair. D:

On a positive note, I think that Peyo and Louie look absolutely incredible. And I also liked Edmund.

Ruby is supposed to be Peyo's mom...if my mom wore a nightgown and angel wings to run a clothing store, I would have a meltdown. I miss Ruby's southern style oufit. It was cute, sexy, but at the same time she looked like a mother.

Vanessa- they covered her cleavlage with a gawdy purple top.

Ian- dear god what have they done to you my love! He is wearing some stupid costume along with Rufus, I get it it's a costume shop, but come on!

Sasha- looks like she has cancer

And all of the NPCs are wayyyyy to nice, I liked it more when some of them were kkind of mean.

And the way they arrange everything I find very confusing.

The quality of the art is okay, and the pictures don't look bad in themselves, but they don't look like our NPCs at all, and in that sense I think they look terrible.
