Sorry if this is unrelated but why do people always write "legal" around here?
Anyway, on topic, I'm impatiently awaiting the manga as well. The NPC storylines are some of my favorite parts of Gaia. 3nodding

Its a legal bump if the thread has fallen of the first page.
However since I refuse to 'bump" I say "legal".

Set deadlines for your staff Gaia this is unprofessional, and if they don't make the dead line dock there pay for that month! simple they want money, work. they don't work, they don't get there full pay check that month.

Seconded. I hate to say it but I am starting to think that we aren't going to get it unless they do one of those "Lost manga" threads in the GCD again.

I love the Gaia manga and look forward to it. I can understand it they only put it out during events (which happen fairly often to begin with).

This isn't the first time they have delayed or faltered on the manga. Still, it is always frustrating when it happens. It makes me think "Wait...don't they have a team for this? It's not like the event just popped up out of no where. Don't they have a story line planned out for a good year or two in advance, even if they still decide to make changes along the way? Don't they have back up plans even if it is a simple announcement saying 'We're sorry! it's coming soon.'?", and the like. You'd think by now that the Admin and Devs would have a better way of planning out the manga. If it's getting too much to do it every single event, then maybe they should pick 1-3 events to update the manga with. It can be different each year or it can be a set pattern. Just something so things like this don't happen! I can handle delays, but it gets confusing, annoying, and upsetting to hear different Admins and Devs give different time lines and reasons (ie; one says they are not doing it this time while another gives various updates on progress).

I don't think people are complaining so much about the delay itself as they are complaining about the way it's being handled. I personally can handle the delays since this is not the first time it has happened with the manga. It's just that the people at GaiaHQ seem to have no idea what they are doing with the manga and are not translating that very well to their users. It's coming across confusing and frustrating. One person says one thing and another says something else. That's my only problem with it personally.

They've been writing, coloring, making, and updating the manga for five and a half years now. Five and a half years. You would think that they would have some kind of system in place by now. As I said before, even if all they do is make an announcement simply saying "sorry for the delay, but it is coming!" or even that it is not this time. Just something to let the masses know.

As a side note; I hate that OMGaia forum. I understand that the Admins and Devs think it is a nice place to dump everything without making announcements. However, that in itself is the problem. They don't make announcements for a lot of things that should get an announcement. In turn, users run around bitching, complaining, or even over suggesting something that has already been done, but they don't know about it. Who is seriously going to check that forum daily for update when they don't even read all the stickies in every forum? I hate that 90% of our announcements now are about Cash Shop updates and Sponsors. Don't give me the money retort. I know. We all know. It's a mute point.
