Last I heard the character art is done, but I think all the backgrounds and effects still have to be finished, and the people who do those are two of the busiest people in the art department (I mean insane, work-all-weekend busy). I hope we'll see it soon though, but I'm not going to lean too hard on those guys because I don't want to kill them.

Gaia is always working on something "important". I think they have too much food on their plate and they can't handle it all. You have CS, EI, ZOMG, and everything else -- believe me, the manga isn't the only thing that they keep pushing back and back. It's sad to see that they are doing this because it's obvious they can not handle the load. Seems to me they don't have enough staff to do the things that need to be done. I know they are probably doing the best that they can but maybe this is the time to sit back and think all of things you are doing.

They just updated about the free Gaia Cash they gave for the prom. I wish they would tell everyone what is going on with the prom manga delay in an announcement.

So the person who did the character design can't do the backgrounds and such as well?

Pardon me if I don't know much about the drawing process of creating a manga (backgrounds scare me, personally), but it seems kind of weird that there are only two people on the staff capable of doing the backgrounds for the Prom manga.

In any case, looks like we still have to wait indefinitely for the conclusion. >.<

I agree. I really think finishing a manga conclusion that was promised a month ago should be a fairly high priority.

Anyway, on topic, I'm impatiently awaiting the manga as well. The NPC storylines are some of my favorite parts of Gaia. 3nodding
