I actually like the idea of a bank. it would help spend happy people like me from ruining an item quest to get something stupid. As long as the bank was run by the actual game moderators and i could set up a pin id be all for it

and FYI ive been playing since mid 05'... you weren't blessed with the privilege of seeing coco go from 10K to 800K +so dont complain about inflation to me. especially now that all it takes to get rich is selling a few good EI's in the marketplace.

some hackers dont need to be motivated by gold or items, some just hack cause they dont like you or your friends. others cause they think its fun

i was here BEFORE the 2% deduction in the marketplace, which RAISED prices.
EI's are relatively new and look how jacked up the priced are for those.
MC prices are higher than ive ever seen, and i was there back when 10K was hard to get.

if anything a bank wont make us any worse off than we already are.

Once upon a time, Gaia DID have a bank that allowed you to store your gold. Waaaaaay back when it was in its infancy. I always wondered why they did away with it. sweatdrop

There's a forum for this, and it isn't the GD.

Also to the person saying they were hacked - If someone has access to your Gaia account, they also have access to your bank account. Think about it: If someone steals your wallet, they can not only use your cash, but also your credit cards (because most places don't check IDs like they should)

those are some good reasons to have a gaia bank
but
theres also a simpler way tat we can use for now
one way:
set up a plan on how long you will earn gold and not spend(for example, 2 hours)
and spend gold (for example, you can have 1 hour to spend money or
do whatever you want)
second way:
write down how much you have
for the rest of when you wanna save
you can only spend higher than that amount
(for instance, you have 5,000 gold. You wanna save for the rest of the day.
write down or remember that you had 5,000 gold you wanna save for the day. Now, it's 2 hours since you were on your Gaia last. You have 6,000 gold. For the rest of the day you can spend only what will keep you having at least 5,000 gold.
So if you bought a nice outfit for about 940, you would have 5,060. It's still more than 5,000 so you're safe.)

of course, we cant do this EVERY day, but we can try to save as much until Gaia has a Gold Savings Bank.
