Does the new page give a good overall aspect to what Gaia is?
It certainly brings it up to speed with the rest of the site.
Although, parks aren't really what gaia is about.

Are the images too young or old?
The girl looks overtly french, and a bit old. The market you're after aren't specifically late 20's, are they? I'd try again, make 'em teenagers of approximately 15-17.
He looks like an absolute wanker, pardon my swearing. Absolute idiot. She's smexy, in a really cool way. But he's an absolute idiot.
The people near the gaia event as it is, the two who replaced the holiday scene - they'd be cool to have there. Or the old header - the guy with red hair and the kitty girl.
And possibly make them look as though they're side by side. As it is, they look like they're two separate people stuck next to each other.

Does it make Gaia look too much like Neopets/Myspace/other sites?
No site I've ever been to. Haha. I suck. <_<

Do the design look good? Layout problems? I generally like it.
The event bit is nothing. If you make it like one of the two above elements (ie "Join our world" wink with the two Santa images, it would be infinitely more appealing than how it is at the moment.

Anything missing? What should we add or change?
She has a tattoo. give us tattoos, or don't false advertise.
The background colour is a bit.. off. Not necessary to change it entirely, just a couple of shades or something. Not so dark.

Should we emphasize more on roleplaying/forum/games/items?
The forums. All I see there is games and chatting. No mention of the manga or anything, either.

yeah, its vibrant, outstanding, and sends out a happy feeling....overall, yes it accomplishes this

Eh..
It's like the same as all the other RP sites. .-.
I mean, there's nothing spiffy about it and I feel I've seen it a thousand other places.
Gaia looks rather nice and original the way it is..

To Irrealistic, you have avvies with anklets and pitchforks and such which will continue to rise and not be as reachable for the newbies to Gaia. As well there are HUNDREDS of avvies that don't need Donation Items / whatevernewnameyoucalledthem. Need help? Go to AT!

Yes, It's too blocky. I've seen it on 6 other sites and What I like about the face of gaia is that it's not all chunked out.

Meh, I think I like the way it is.

And I really think that most of us that have been online longer should be listened to. Because at this point, I feel the polls are highly over loaded by the newer to gaia *cough*Noobs*cough* instead of those that actually care about gaia and have been on it for eons instead of the last 2 monthes.

I think you could add a little more references about the Avatar you make here on Gaia. I mean, it does mean a lot to tons of people. So if you could add that Avatar Spotlight thingy to the first place and make it update every one week, or so. I liked the one you used to have to your 2k4/2k5 layout. It sure gave me inspiration and spirit to do things with my own avatar.

As for all "newbie’s" joining Gaia, what are they asking for? That's right, clothes! The avatar is the most awesome thing evah! >;O heart
