Navigation Changes Feedback

In an effort to make Gaia more Y2K compliant, we are giving the site navigation a much-needed overhaul. These changes should be popping up very soon, and you can read more about them in this announcement.

As some of you probably noticed, our site navigation has gotten pretty clunky, with pages organized all willy-nilly. The new navigation will be more logical and friendly to the uninitiated, with pages and features easier to find. It'll also be more accommodating to some of the new stuff in the works.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, so please post away!

I don't care for it. The only thing I like about it is the easy access to the shops. Otherwise, it's just... blah. There's too many options under each tab that extends. I mean, seriously, you don't need to have all the mail option available under the tab. I despise the fact that you have "Get Gaia Cash" and "Monthly Collectibles" above the "Shops." I buy cash and MC's to support you guys, not to have you throw it in everyone's faces. It's like you're saying, "pay real money first, spend free gold later or not at all"

It looks really hard.... sad I think that it would be really hard for the new gaians. I agree with everyone else that the current glitches need to be worked out first. For example - when you wear the pony tail the hats have a lot of glitches with the hair and you end up with the end of your pony tail just floating in the air.

I guess it does need a bit tidying...although many things do. confused
But it looks a bit difficult to grasp. Adding more options to the already complex system is very confusing. I think it will take longer for it to show up on certain computers. [Depending on the type of internet connection or performance of the computer.]
If you call that clean up so be it....But I do miss the old Gaia. Old-Fashioned is in...
But of course....this is just feed back.... Our opinions aren't actually being taken into consideration.

Maybe we shouldn't fix what isn't broken?
Gaia seems to be adding on and upgrading at warp speed while other things on the site aren't even working up to par quite yet.
Let's fix some glitches and work out the bugs before we go around possibly creating more on accident.

I hate that idea it looks too complicated for new gaia users and I agree that it looks ugly talk2hand
