I beat Kanoko a few minutes ago and clicked "Claim Prize" to find Sol's Sunglasses.
What?
I thought I won...
That item's like half of the midsummer swirl's original price.
Chance items need to make more sense..

Anyone?

Gaia always have gambles like that. They never guarantee that the prize when you "win" will be awesome and expensive though..the chance is just increased the further along you get in these games they have..

Honestly it isn't worth the risk.

Users set the Marketplace prices, not Gaia.

Even if an item is only gained by a total victory, that's no guarantee that it will be worth a lot.
Now, a rare item is likely to be worth more than a common item, but if the rare item isn't very desirable, like Sol's Sunglasses, it will probably be worth less.

You got a poor draw, I'm afraid. Next time, try selling your victory on the Marketplace if you're looking for gold.

Also, stop bumping your thread. This is a relatively slow moving forum, and bumping is only allowed once you've fallen off the first page.

There's a reason Random is the first part of an RIG. If a win guaranteed great prizes no one would b***h or lose. This is why if I get to the final level I sell it and make a profit off it.

i had better luck buying the Blind box., igot zhivago the second time i open ed it and got a cool million for selling it.

Like has been said before... users set the value of an item.

The thing that gets me is the number of sad ice creams I get from victories... talk about unlucky

usuers usually set the value by serveralthings:

first release rpice: uusally the ghihest possible on the MP to try to get the best deal. this drops by the amount of people who put the item on the market.

it stays higher due to the rarety...IE: The clasic Ian doll is worth a very large fortune cuz so far theres only a few to sell.

the price is als o set on the items cooness. if theres only one or 2 poses (such as seen in the sad iecreams) then the price has low value

Coolness of the character based items: any character based item is sometiems set by how cool the charecter is. the Ruby doll is only worth a hundred thouysand. she's not that popular really, tho she should be as the doll is dressed like she used to be dressed, as a suthern belle.... Ians undies are usually the highest price becaes Ian was the first NPC and ha the biggest fanclub

*headdesk* The OP mentions the swirl's original price. Last I checked it's original price was not in Gaia Gold. Quit bringing up users setting the gold prices prices of items please.

The majority of Gaia's female shopkeeper's can't pay the fine for standing up straight and facing directly forward when running their shops. Like normal shopkeepers. Newest Example.

confused yeah I can't tell how many times I've gotten sad ice cream as a victory prize. Victories shouldn't include items such as sad ice creams.

I know, right? Why shitty sad ice creams for WINNING? At least give us some decent items for winning. Hell, the Neo. Sash would have been a better 'winning' prize, because it's a hell of a lot cuter, and makes more ******** sense.
