People forget that the avatars are supposed to represent people with actual genitals and nipples. They just don't have them in case glitches go through. The fact that they are supposed to represent something with those parts is why they're supposed to be covered. The alruna does have nipples and never did as a spirit like this which is why it's okay to show, if that makes any sense. When she materializes into something more solid and human-like, i can gaurantee you that she'll be sporting some coverage.

Could is not a definite. Which still leaves my concerns, feedback and suggestions very much valid as much as it irritates you. If the artist would be so kind as to tell us what exactly she is wearing this mess could be cleared in an instant (though I will admitt I still want to be able to be topless emo ).

telling from the expression on her face there is no detestable messages, so it is considered 'tasteful nudity'

May I say I am 19, nearing 20 and I draw things like this. Lots of boobs and hell, even nakeds. The point you're not getting, the point you have even yet to grasp, is the fact that:

If it is considered bad PR to have avi's showing their breasts because it is "offensive" won't it be as equally bad PR to have Alruna showing her breasts and be equally as "offensive" to those who didn't like naked avi's in the first place?

Isn't it as bad for 13 year olds to have naked avi's as it to for 13 year olds to have Alruna's naked tits in their faces?

And if it's ok for Alruna to have naked breasts, for the superior form to have naked breast, for any other skin to have naked breasts, why isn't our natural avi skin ok? They're still breast, regardless of race, species or even if they're metal or furred.

If those are ok, than why isn't natural breasts ok? They're still colored the same. They show as little detail as the others do.

It boils down to the fact if it's not ok for us, than it isn't ok for Alruna, and if it's ok fro Alruna it should be ok for us.

there is no disputable law suit against gaia for this in the first place, before you join it clearly states that it is for 13+ users and may contain rated PG-13 material (*ahem* most of the time above that) and since they are not fully exposed it's fine.

I think the people who are whining are either under age-which they shouldn't be on here in the first place, or they're bigots who don't appreiate all the love the artists put into the work. I can tell right now that o_8 put a lot of thought into the pose in question and that if they knew it was going to be a problem that they wouldn't have let o_8 do it in the first place. Sure they have the right to b***h and whine all they want, it doesn't mean Gaia HAS to listen to them. rolleyes Personally, I think they're acting like a bunch of children and they need to grow the ******** up. There's loopholes to having your avatar be almost completely topless- Oh say, for example, the suspenders? Maybe the kiddies in here had their way with the Imp feet, but the Gaia Admins KNOW there'll be an even bigger backlash than that if this goes their way. Not to mention, an option to be topless would be nice for cosplay reasons, but other than that, I can't see people really using it. It's like a small child wanting a toy. Once they get it, they lose all interest. Simple logic.
