Malicious Ad - Tries to Download Something Into Comp

When I got up this morning, I noticed a new ad on Gaia. It was on all three of the tabs I opened with Gaia and after about ten minutes, it opened two new tabs with something trying to download into my computer. Please get rid of it, Gaia!

This is the malicious site that it pulls up.

And I was typing up a pm when it happened. When I would type, it would open two tabs with the site trying to download stuff.

I would also highly recommend checking your anti-spyware, anti-malware and virus protection to make sure it is up to date. It's possible one of your applications is compromised and you were hit with something intrusive that takes advantage of compromised applications.

As spyware, malware and virus protection improves, so do the efforts of the intruders and your application makers don't have instantaneous solutions since they need to be made aware of new threats before they can code to recognize and remove them.

Thank you for the reporting link. There's nothing wrong with my antivirus and antimalware. It never got to the point where it could actually download anything into my computer before my software got it. I just wanted to report it so that others didn't get the same problem as me.
