But my experience is that people do not care to think differently, and even more so how they feel on a religious symbol
Osa Osa chan says:

Then they are not worth getting upset over. There are always going to be people who cannot except who pagans are and what they truly believe in. Getting rid of a pixlelated item is not going to change their minds. Like I said, take this as an oppertunity to teach lost people of the true meaning. If I had never picked up the Satanist Bible thinking it had to do with Witchcraft, my mother would have never saw it and taught me the true ways.
@error[dot]exe: NO, please don't say that. Satanism and Paganism are not the same things at all.

I am glad to see you're offended, but Gaia's not going to fix it. Keep in mind that every church -- Catholic, Protestant, whatever -- will be "offended" by this item, and basically, and sorry to say this, those churches have more say than you Wiccans do. If Gaia doesn't care about them, they won't care about you either.
Well they should, because I am sure they are not going to put out an upside down cruifix, or a swastica.

"But yeah the whole it being satanic thing is crap, and then if they wanna pull the upside down bit. Just throw back the whole st paul asking to be crucified upside down because he felt unworthy to be crucified the same as Jesus, and no one will argue that he is evil. "
I'm sure that depends on the coven. And the solitary practitioners, they never get 'levels'?

Seriously. I'm waiting for another Wiccan to enlighten me on this level thing. Wasn't aware Wicca had so many rules.

How do you figure they wouldn't put an upside-down crucifix? It would actually make sense, considering the context they're used in anime. Go check the themes for the new profile system, too. A cross is used there, to represent gothic lolita. Oh no!

I am a Wiccan and our symbol is that of a Pentacle, and the fact that the new Vampire Hunter item has an upside down and red Pentacle. Being a Pagan I know how many associate the Pentacle with the devil, and even more so when it is upside down. This greatly offends me because once again the Pentacle is being shown the wrong way and in alliance with a Vampire or devilish theme too it.

I would like to see Gaia fix this, the symbol should be placed right side up and done in gold or silver, or it should be removed comptely because it is offensive to Pagans to show the symbol in that way.

Here's your solution and the answer to being unoffended:
Look at it from where your avatar would look at it, it isn't inversed, it's actually facing upwards. I don't know how many peope I have to point it out to... But it isn't offensive at all if you actually study it.
Besides, it's not really a religious item anyways. Look at the designs around the star; this is a standard 5 point alchemist circle and those are the formulas.
But it is upside down in the item screen, that offends me.

It's already been stated that it is actually the correct way - and it's only a gaia item - mere pixels, nothing more. You don't need to get so upset about something gaia won't fix, because it's not really 'broken'.

They already have. Elsewhere.

A jillion different pagan religions view the pentagram in different ways -- and you'll also note that from the avatar's perspective, it's right-side-up.

This is one of those cases, I think, where's there's no way to do it that's going to satisfy everyone.

The Answer to life;

Exactly.
There's many different ways a Pagen uses the pentagram.
It shouldn't be offensive at all. confused

is what you make it.

Not saying they're the same thing, dear.

I'm saying Satanism in all of its forms is included in paganism, for the sheer fact that paganism refers to religions of western origin that are not abrahamic in nature.

That includes Satanism.

That's exactly why they shouldn't have it, because everyone equates it with Satan when Wicca and Paganism has no belief in Satan.
Osa Osa chan says:

Only uneducated people think they're the same. They are different and now is the perfect time to educate people about it. Instead of seeing this as offencive, see it as a chance to teach people about the true meaning.
EDIT: woo, messed that quote up >3<

Really, it seems like you don't care to see it differently. It's a different symbol entirely, but you keep insisting it is not.

People will see the difference if taught. Those who don't will just stay blindly ignorant in their own little world.

If you keep insisting the Pentacle is the exact same thing as the Pentagram, then do you also insist that all who follow the ancient Indian religion of Jainism are Nazi's because their holiest symbol is a Swastika?

I also believe people have pointed out it is more of an Alchemist symbol.

As for the item itself, am I offended? No. Why should I be? It's an image. Is it mocking the way I live, or what I believe? No. I have nothing to be offended by.

Not related to Paganism in any way.

Know your role, cretin.

Irony.

A swastika is a political symbol, connected with facism and mass-murder. It has no symbolism apart from Nazis, is rarely used in anime, and would cause crackdown by everybody. Poor example.
Satanism didn't come from "teh westzor".
It came from underground cults stowed away in underground lairs/caverns in England. neutral
It hasn't been around just for a few decades. Try a few centuries.
Definately not Western in descent.

Therfore, your argument is false x)

And no. I won't shut up.
You shut up.

Yes but by doing something about it Gaia might be able to help change things. Media has always shown the Pentical and Pentigram in a bad light, I think that Gaia, by not having it can help stop bad publicity of the Pagan symbol.

You seemed to have skipped the part where I justified that it wasn't based on belief but a practice in medicine... Alchemy?
Did I not mention that? I can directly quote it, but you can also look above and read it.
Yet again, it is used and displayed in the way where your avatar's sight and perspective is, therefore, even on the item screen it wouldn't be inverted.
